This well-built Eye of Horus ring is flanked on either side of the eye with the symbol of the Ankh.
Eye of Horus symbol meaning; Protection, power, health and restoration. This is due to the belief that in ancient Egyptian times the gods Seth and Horus had an epic battle in which Horus was to lose his left eye. The Goddess Hathor stepped up to heal Horus, magickly restoring his eye. From this his eye has been a symbol of healing, protection, power and restoration ever since. Ankh symbolism is straightforward enough being that it represents eternal life or immortality. Its symbol touches on your physical, spiritual and eternal life, death and reincarnation. As it was believed in ancient Egyptian times that the Gods and Goddesses could use this symbol to resurrect (bring back to life) people if they so chose.
Clearly these two symbols together can make for a powerful protective amulet.
