Altar Besoms are traditionally used to cleanse and purify an area before ritual or spell casting. This can be your large size witches broom to clear your home or sacred space or, as is with these smaller Besoms can be used to cleanse and purify your altar space.

I also enjoy using mine as a fan when I burn smudge sticks to cleanse a home or space.

Comes in Deep Purple and has a triquetra and Triple Moon adorning it.

The triquetra (which has a Celtic background) generally represents the division of the world into earth, sea and sky. It also represents the triple Goddess (or maiden, mother and crone) It's main point of focus if you were to generalize it is the basic interconnectedness of all things, the cycle of infinity.

The triple moon in the craft is associated with the maiden, mother and crone which in relation to the moon is the waxing, full and waning phases. There is much information available on this subject so I won't go into too much detail here, but if this is new to you, I suggest you look into it a little as it is very interesting and can help you immensely in your magickal practices.

There is much information to be found on these symbols, so again, I would recommend you look into it yourself if you are not familiar with it.

The last image is there to show you the scale of the Besoms.
