These gorgeous pendants depict a witch on her broomstick, witches hat on, her cat familiar sat on the broom in front of her as she fly's effortlessly through the sky. It really is a gorgeous pendant.
It is believed (historically speaking) that witches would anoint their brooms with a potion believed to be hallucinogenic and would then mount them to fly off to their sabbath or rituals. Broomsticks are commonly used in witchcraft even today, there are many uses for them, mostly of the more mundane variety but, there is a lot of very interesting history attached to them if you wish to learn more.
This pendant however, is just a beautiful depiction showing the freedom that is also associated with "the flying witch"
